Cornerstone Group of NY appoints Leykind new executive vice president, capital markets

New York, NY According to Cornerstone Group of NY, Alex Leykind has joined the firm as executive vice president of capital markets. 

Leykind is a 15-year banking and capital markets industry veteran with tenure representing middle market developers, multifamily property owners and real estate investors.

Leykind has built a solid foundation of real estate cliental through his tenacity and determination to always find the right capital source for every transaction. In his career, he has earned the top 1% in originations and client retention for managing local and national lender relationships.

Leykind has a record of guiding local, national and multinational clients with their commercial real estate acquisitions, lease obligations, repositioning and dispositions. Leykind has originated over $100 million of debt and equity placements for his clients. He is dedicated to applying his expertise and market knowledge to facilitate commercial, industrial, multifamily , retail and development credit facilities that consistently exceed the investment returns and goals of his clients.

His background and relationship management skills enable him to work cross functionally and solve complex organizational problems.  He looks at each deal individually and creates an innovative and analytical vision for the transaction and the ultimate goals of his clients and partners.

Leykind is a graduate of City University of New York at Hunter College, earning a BA in Political Science.
