CodeGreen was able to minimize water usage at both 498 7th Ave. and 200 Madison Ave., resulting in a total baseline water reduction rate of 15% from the LEED standard. Both buildings also purchased 62.5% green power and upheld an ongoing consumables recycling rate of over 50%. Close attention was also paid to the types of products used, and over 60% of all cleaning supplies at both locations have sustainability attributes.
Energy efficiency played a major role in the LEED certification of the two buildings, and both were able to earn Energy Star Labels in 2012. CodeGreen Solutions performed ASHRAE Level 2 Energy Audits and Retro-Commissioning Studies at both .
