Ceruzzi Properties launches sales at The Hayworth

Rendering of The Hayworth - Manhattan, NY

Manhattan, NY Ceruzzi Properties’ The Hayworth, located at 1289 Lexington Ave. on the northeast corner of 86th St., has launched the sales of its 61 condominiums. The architect for the 21-story project was HOK. The Portuguese limestone base supports a façade featuring pleated, bay windows and private outdoor spaces, while interiors and amenities exhibit the discernment of lauded AD 100 designer Lee Mindel of SheltonMindel.

“The Hayworth offers contemporary, sophisticated living in one of Manhattan’s most traditional and elegant neighborhoods,” said Anna Zarro, head of sales, marketing & communications for Ceruzzi.

“The building is located in the heart of the Upper East Side, offering its quintessential lifestyle surrounded by parks, museums, and the highly regarded cultural, public and private educational institutions that define this neighborhood.”

The Hayworth’s classic two-to-five bedroom and penthouse residences offer modern design in every detail: Canted bay windows, loft-inspired layouts, 10’ ceilings and oak parquet flooring. Defining, large-scale art gallery walls throughout the building eliver continuity of the design intent from the lobby into each home. Kitchens feature Glassos backsplashes and countertops, Calacatta Calvani marble islands, custom walnut cabinetry and Gaggenau appliances. Master bathrooms are clad in polished Arabescato Oro floors, Thassos marble walls and countertops with Kohler baths, custom Waterworks fixtures and mirrored vanity cabinets with cove lighting.

“The sculptural sensibility of the façade seamlessly flows into the limestone clad lobby,” said Lee Mindel, principal of SheltonMindel Architects. “It is here that the concept of the art wall is introduced, paying homage to the building’s proximity to Museum Mile and evoking the serene emotion of welcoming you home.”

The Hayworth lifestyle expands beyond each private residence. An expert design team created a suite of amenities: Rooftop terrace with fireside seating and al fresco dining area; a Great Room with billiards table and catering kitchen, as well as a private library; playroom with art space; and music & movement studio curated by specialists from the 92Y. ‘“The Wright Fit” signature fitness studio with cardio, strength and performance training equipment completes the experience.

“The Hayworth offers close proximity to Central Park, the 92nd St. Y, and other venerable neighborhood institutions. Timed for completion in 2019, the building’s design sophistication, expansive scale of the residences, and private outdoor spaces, in this highly desirable location, are eagerly anticipated in the market,” said Joanie Schumacher, sales director for The Hayworth.
