CBRE Group, Inc. arranges 5,100 s/f lease with Tethys Technology, Inc. at 989 Avenue Of The Americas

CBRE Group, Inc. has completed a 5,100 s/f lease on behalf of Tethys Technology, Inc. for the entire 19th floor at 989 Avenue of the Americas. Tethys will relocate from the 7th floor of 17 Battery Place North. CBRE's Stuart Siegel, Matthew Bergey and Daniel Bodner negotiated on behalf of Tethys, a financial software development and market-microstructure research company. Joseph Mangiacotti, also of CBRE, negotiated on behalf of the landlord. The asking rent was $45 per s/f. "Tethys was looking at acquiring office space in Midtown to support the growth in its business and was attracted to this loft-like space with windows on all sides," said Bodner. "989 Avenue of the Americas is a great value and the landlord offered to turnkey the space, which was another plus for the tenant." 989 Avenue of the Americas is a 20-story, 92,000 s/f building located between 36th and 37th streets.
