Manhattan, NY The Capital Group, the world’s largest active global investment manager, is adding a new office at Rudin’s 345 Park Ave. in the heart of the Plaza District.

The firm will occupy the entire 70,400 s/f fourth floor of 345 Park Ave. As part of a 10-year lease, Capital Group is set to open its new office in the fall of 2027 while maintaining its current presence at 399 Park Ave.

“345 Park Ave.’s prime location, large floor plates, and our upcoming amenity enhancements distinguish it as a best-in-class asset,” said Michael Rudin, co-CEO at Rudin. “We are pleased to accommodate Capital Group’s continued growth in the Plaza District and commitment to New York City.”

Rudin is in the process of creating 45,000 s/f of new amenities at 345 Park Ave., which is now fully leased. Rudin’s enhanced amenity program will feature a tenant-exclusive lounge and a high-end fitness and wellness center, which will open at the beginning of 2027.

In addition, Rudin is bringing acclaimed French chef Cyril Lignac, who will open a Bar des Pres restaurant and two additional concepts in the building. The street-level food, beverage and hospitality offerings will open to the public early next year.

Developed by Rudin and opened in 1969, the 1,900,000 s/f tower has consistently housed top-tier companies including Blackstone, Loeb & Loeb and the NFL.

Robert Steinman, SVP of office leasing, represented Rudin in-house. Chris Mansfield, Frank Scott, David Opper, Zachary Weil, Eddie Sisca and Trevor Larkin of CBRE represented Capital Group.
