The Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors, Inc. (HGAR) and OneKey MLS will present a complimentary webinar June 10th at 10 a.m. titled, “Market Update and What’s Next for the Housing Market in the Pandemic Era.” The discussion will feature leading experts on where the residential real estate market is headed amid the COVID-19 crisis.

“New York State’s residential real estate industry is facing unusual challenges, but we’ve weathered turbulent times before,” said Richard Haggerty, CEO of HGAR and president of OneKey MLS, the new regional multiple listing service for New York. “Our expert panel will share the latest information about where the market is headed and what we need to know to navigate this changing landscape and emerge even stronger.”
Haggerty and HGAR president Gail Fattizzi will host the hour-long Zoom session featuring Lawrence Yun, chief economist and senior VP of research at the National Association of Realtors; and Joe Rand, chief creative officer, Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Rand Realty. Yun will speak about market turbulence from COVID-19, where the economy is heading in 2020 and what this means for the residential market. Rand will discuss what’s next for the housing market and present case studies examining catastrophic events from recent history and how they impacted real estate sales and values. The program will include time for a Q&A after each speaker.
