REI Spring Symposium - April 27

The Real Estate Institute at Stony Brook University will hold its annual Spring Symposium “Moving Forward: New Infrastructure and Business Development Projects on Long Island” on Friday April 27th at 8 a.m., at the Hilton Garden Inn located on the University’s campus.

Panelists will include Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone, the LIA’s Kevin Law and Anthony Catapano, the executive director for Suffolk County’s IDA. Joined by private sector participants Mitch Pally from the Long Island Builders Institute and Robert Coughlan of Tritec Real Estate, panelists will discuss the confluence of real estate development and infrastructure investment with a focus on catalytic projects across the region. Topics of discussion will include Tritec’s Ronkonkoma Hub Transit Oriented Development, status of the Nassau Hub in Uniondale and updates to efforts to redevelopment Belmont Race track. Moderating the discussion will be David Pennetta of Cushman and Wakefield, who will provide attendees insight into how the public and private sectors work in partnership to further development and economic growth throughout the region. Professional accreditation will be available to Real Estate and Appraisal professionals.
