Caban joins CBRE Retail Services Group as VP

According to CB Richard Ellis, Noel Caban, a versatile sales professional with more than five years of retail real estate experience, has joined the firm's Retail Services group as a vice president. In his new role, Caban will concentrate on broadening CBRE's retail efforts in Harlem, Upper Manhattan and the outer boroughs. Caban comes to CBRE from Winick Realty Group, where he served as associate director. In that position, he developed and maintained many of the company's retail client accounts throughout Upper Manhattan and the outer boroughs. Caban will be based in CBRE's Midtown Manhattan office. What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts? I would like to say there was an outstanding transaction for me this past year but 2024 was more a culmination of long-term relationships, most of which continued to transact. Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
