Buonaiuto of Empire National Bank joins L.I. Museum board

Thomas Buonaiuto, president, chief operating officer and director of Empire National Bank, a full service commercial bank headquartered in Islandia, New York, has joined The Long Island Museum's board of trustees. "It's a privilege to be affiliated with The Long Island Museum. It is dedicated to American history and art while bringing to life the yesteryear of Long Island with its changing exhibitions. Part of a select group of cultural institutions that are Smithsonian affiliates, it is also Long Island's largest privately supported museum," said Buonaiuto. Buonaiuto earned a bachelor of science degree in Accounting from Long Island University, C.W. Post. He is also a graduate of the Bank Administration Institute's School of Operations and Technology. His professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. A firm believer in "giving back" to the Long Island community, he is past board president and current board member of the Child Care Council of Suffolk.
