Buckley joins Buckingham Properties as director of development

Buckingham Properties has hired Peter Buckley as director of development. Buckley will oversee development projects within Buckingham's real estate portfolio of 10 million s/f, including The Tower at Midtown and Alexander Park. Buckley has thirty years of experience in design coordination, construction management, real estate development, demolition and industrial asset recovery. Prior to joining the Buckingham team, he managed numerous projects valued at over $1 billion. His experience consists of assisting clients and managing teams to successfully complete large capital projects. He has successfully completed private, municipal and educational projects in N.Y., MA, ME, OH and FL. Buckley is an associate member of the American Institute of Architects and a member of the Construction Management Association of America. Additionally, he is a board member at the Monroe BOCES Foundation and has served on a number of other charitable boards over the years. Buckley has received numerous awards including The City of Rochester Mayor's 'Superstar of Service Award', two Awards of Merit from the Landmark Society of Western New York and two "Project of the Year" awards from the American Public Works Association (APWA). He is also a member of the Rochester Business Journal's Forty Under 40 class of 2005. Buckley resides in Penfield with his wife and three children.
