"In addition to offering luxury rentals, Acacia is bringing a new type of environmentally-friendly living to Bed-Stuy," said Andrew Barrocas, CEO of MNS. "We expect the building's green design to attract the attention of prospective renters who are looking for a home that is on the cutting edge of eco-living and located in an ever-changing neighborhood."
Green features at Acacia include: 100% fresh filtered air in corridors, programmable thermostats in individual rooms, Energy Star appliances, water-conserving fixtures in all kitchens and bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling Low-E windows and energy-efficient lighting.
