Brooklyn’s The Dupont surpasses 50% leased

Brooklyn, NY According to Rockefeller Group, in a joint venture partnership with Park Tower Group, more than 50% of the 381 residences at The Dupont have been leased. This milestone underscores strong demand for the newly launched luxury rental tower, which is situated along Greenpoint’s sought-after waterfront and offers a design-forward living experience on par with the city’s premier condominiums.

The Dupont marks Rockefeller Group’s debut residential development in Brooklyn. Designed by Garner Kronick + Valcarcel with interiors by AD100 firm Workstead, the 41-story building comprises a mix of studio to three-bedroom homes, as well as a limited collection of penthouses, 90% of which feature water views.

“The pace of leasing at The Dupont is a testament to the building’s exceptional quality, design, and location,” said Meg Brod, senior managing director of the Northeast at Rockefeller Group. “We know Greenpoint’s waterfront has the potential to support a truly elevated rental offering, and The Dupont has proven that demand exists for residences that bring condo-level finishes, amenities, and thoughtful design to the rental market.”

Located within the master-planned Greenpoint Landing development, The Dupont overlooks the newly constructed Newtown Barge Park, with views of the Manhattan skyline. Residents enjoy access to over 20,000 s/f of amenities, including a heated rooftop pool, co-working spaces, fitness center with yoga studio, and an infrared sauna and treatment room. The Rooftop Clubhouse on the 38th floor features both indoor and outdoor lounge spaces designed for year-round enjoyment.

“We’re thrilled to see such strong leasing momentum at The Dupont,” said Marian Klein, president of Park Tower Group. “As part of Greenpoint Landing, The Dupont represents our commitment to bringing thoughtfully designed housing and public space to the neighborhood. We’re proud to welcome new residents to this dynamic community.”

Inside the homes, Workstead has oak flooring, custom Italian cabinetry and hardware, quartz countertops and backsplashes, and custom finishes and wood accents. Kitchens are outfitted with panelized Bosch and Blomberg appliances, while bathrooms feature Botticino marble, frameless glass showers, and bespoke vanities with pewter details. Residences also offer keyless entry, in-home washer/dryers, and many have private outdoor space.

Compass Development Marketing Group, The Dupont’s exclusive leasing and marketing firm, played an integral role in shaping the resident experience from the project’s earliest stages.

“The Dupont reflects the evolution of what renters are seeking today—spaces that are beautifully designed, highly functional, and amenity-rich,” said JR Sena, managing director of Compass Development Marketing Group. “Positioned directly across from Newtown Barge Park, with convenient access to the ferry and Greenpoint’s distinct cultural character, and standout features like a rooftop pool and sauna, The Dupont has struck a chord with renters drawn to both location and lifestyle.”
