Brodhead named partner and managing director at Ariel Property Advisors

Manhattan, NY Christoffer Brodhead has joined Ariel Property Advisors (Ariel) investment sales group as a partner and managing director.

“We’re thrilled to attract a veteran broker like Chris who shares Ariel’s commitment to delivering exceptional client services and results,” said Shimon Shkury, president and founder of Ariel Property Advisors.

“My partners and I worked alongside Chris at Massey Knakal Realty Services and are delighted to welcome him to the Ariel team.”

Brodhead said, “Joining Ariel Property Advisors was a great opportunity and I look forward to working with the firm’s partners, including my former colleagues. I was especially attracted to Ariel’s strong reputation, data-driven approach to brokerage and superb market intelligence, which will be instrumental in helping my clients reach their investment goals.”

Brodhead, who has sold over 120 buildings valued at approximately $1 billion in the Midtown West section of Manhattan, will continue to serve clients in that part of the city. His significant transactions in the area include the $36.5 million sale of an industrial property at 624-36 West 47th St.; $32.3 million sale of a mixed-use property at 885 10th Ave.; and the $22.5 million sale of a development site at 500 West 14th St.

Prior to joining Ariel, Brodhead was a partner and managing director at B6 Real Estate Advisors. He previously served as a managing director at Cushman & Wakefield and at Massey Knakal Realty Services, which was acquired by Cushman & Wakefield. Throughout his career, he has been honored with a number of company awards for excellence and sales success.

Brodhead earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Brown University, followed by a Master’s degree in Urban Planning and Development from the Institut Français d’Urbanisme in Paris.
