Breslin Realty Development unveils 201-unit The Langdon and acquires Massapequa Plaza

Lynbrook, NY Breslin Realty Development Corp. is progressing on its new development project, The Langdon, a 201-unit, 278,014 s/f apartment complex.

The Langdon is located directly across from the Lynbrook Long Island Railroad train station, and is expected to hold its groundbreaking within the next 60 days, and construction is planned to be completed by summer 2023.

The project will include 55 studio apartments, 111 one-bedroom and 35 two-bedroom apartments, as well as 2,000 s/f of retail space at the ground level, and on-site parking for 205 vehicles. It was approved by the Town of Hempstead in November 2021.

Located at 47 Broadway, this new housing development will replace the former Mangrove Feather factory, a building that has sat vacant for over 15 years. The Langdon is expected to not only provide an aesthetic upgrade to the community but become beneficial to the local economy as well.

The Langdon is a joint venture between Breslin Realty Development Corp. and Fields Grade Development.

Massapequa Plaza, 5117-5163 Merrick Road - Massapequa, NY

Breslin Realty Development Corp. also acquired the Massapequa Plaza shopping center. Additional details regarding the sale were not disclosed. Located at 5117-5163 Merrick Rd., Massapequa Plaza is a 50,000 s/f neighborhood retail center.

It joins Breslin Realty Development Corp.’s portfolio of over 10 million s/f of commercial real estate.

Tenants at Massapequa Plaza include Costello’s Ace Hardware, Rite Aid, Northwell Health GoHealth Urgent Care, Great American Jewelry, Pequa Spirits Wine & Liquor, Gino’s Tuscany Restaurant, Sal’s Meat Market, Three Amigos Fresh Mexican Grill, and Fit Body Boot Camp.
