Braus and Sutro of Lee NYC arrange 700 s/f lease

Peter Braus, managing principal, and JP Sutro, director of Lee & Associates NYC LLC (Lee NYC) have arranged a 10-year lease for Deca Salonat 239 Mulberry St. Located between Spring and Prince Sts., the new space marks the second Nolita location for the full-service beauty stylist and hair salon. Braus and Sutro exclusively represented Deca Salon, as well as the owner of the building, 239 Mulberry LLC, in the transaction for the 700 s/f space. Neighboring businesses include Parm, Grey Dog, Kiehl's and McNally Jackson. "In the first location on Spring St., the tenant saw firsthand the benefits of the area's influx of tourists, residents, employees and shoppers," said Braus. "This location will help them realize their goals of expanding the business and becoming a neighborhood institution." Sutro said, "The landlord wanted a tenant that was already established in the area, which made for a mutually beneficial transaction."
