Brady and Delgorio of Jack Resnick & Sons secure two leases

Owner/manager Jack Resnick & Sons has signed up two new retail tenants at its 43-story mixed-use building at 1755 Broadway. The building, located at 56th St., extends from Broadway to Eighth Ave. In the larger lease, the growing restaurant chain, Chipotle Mexican Grill, will open a 3,300 s/f Eighth Ave. store. On the building's Broadway frontage, GNC will open a 1,050 s/f Nutrition Center. Ariel Schuster and Greg Covey of Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC, represented GNC in its retail leasing transaction while Jeffrey Roseman and Kenneth Hochhauser of Newmark Knight Frank represented Chipotle Mexican Grill. Dennis Brady and Fran Delgorio served as owner reps on both of the long-term leases. According to Brady, asking rents for retail space at 1755 Broadway are in the $150 to $200 per s/f range. Chipotle Mexican Grill currently has over 1000 locations, with restaurants in 37 states, the District of Columbia, Canada and England. GNC has over 4,800 retail locations throughout the United States.
