BOMA Long Island to hold two events in October

Melville, NY BOMA Long Island will hold two events in October.

The first event will be a round table discussion hearing what a professional in the industry has to share about their experience on what the building department allows to be considered “Grand-Fathered” when filing plans today. The October 13th event will be presented by Alexander Badalamenti, AIA, president/CEO of bld architecture, dpc. The presentation will be held at 68 South Service Rd., RXR lower level team room from 8:30 to 10 a.m. RSVP to [email protected] by Ocotber 10th.

The second event is BOMA LI’s 8th Annual “Bowling with BOMA” on October 20th. The event will be held at Bowlmore LI, 895 Walt Whitman Rd. from 6 to 9 p.m. RSVP to [email protected].

When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
