Bolano joins Colliers as a regional director

New York, NY According to Colliers International, 35-year construction and project management veteran Joe Bolano has joined the firm’s healthcare project management team as regional director, healthcare and life sciences. Bolano will oversee the design and construction of healthcare projects from conception to closeout and will be instrumental in growing Colliers’ portfolio and building a specialized healthcare team.

“Joe Bolano has an extensive background in construction project management across a range of asset types, and with his proven track record of delivering innovative and complex healthcare projects, we are looking forward to him helping us grow our healthcare project management busines,” said Warren Elghanayan, managing director.

Bolano brings to Colliers deep and successful experience in the New York-area healthcare market. As vice president, Capital Project & Facility Services for not-for-profit Northwell Health, he oversaw the planning and execution of all capital projects, infrastructure upgrades and major renovations across approximately 20 New York-area hospitals. He also served as Director of Facilities at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens, now New York-Presbyterian Queens, where he oversaw all capital improvement and program development for the hospital and more than 45 off-site facilities. Most recently, Mr. Bolano served as the Vice President and Healthcare/Sciences Sector Leader for The LiRo Group, where he was responsible for expanding the firm’s healthcare, sciences, and higher education sectors.
