BMAR's 2007-2008 Official Membership & Referral Dir.

Successful professionals in business for many years understand the value of referrals not only for repeat customers but also for new customers. Networking and advertising in slower times is even more important. The Bronx-Manhattan North Association of Realtors sponsors a wide range of programs and services to facilitate business referrals for members and professionals servicing the real estate industry throughout the greater New York metropolitan region. I take great pleasure in announcing the printing of the 2007-2008 Official Membership & Referral Directory. Company advertisers are featured in the product & service providers list. I strongly encourage members to patronize the advertisers in the 2007-2008 Membership & Referral Directory. In addition to a general membership roster printed in alphabetical order and the advertisers directory, each affiliate and institutional member is listed according to their specialty or service similar to "yellow pages" listings. Each Realtor member is listed separately with the names of licensees affiliated with their firm. The firm roster will also assist in identifying their agents. New members that will join will be included in the 2008-2009 Membership & Referral Directory. The annual publication is an excellent business referral tool. Copies of the 2007-2008 Membership & Referral Directory are available for purchase: $25 for members and $35 for non-members. Sales tax and shipping will be added to the total order. Quantity discounts are presented for orders over 10 copies. Outstanding networking events are also sponsored through the Bronx-Manhattan North Association of Realtors as "Your Network for Success." The popular events attract professionals throughout the greater New York metropolitan region. I hope to see you at one or more of our major networking events. The next big event is the Annual Holiday Party scheduled for December 19th at the Marina del Rey Caterers. Many companies have their office holiday party in conjunction with this event since it offers four hours of unlimited food, drink, entertainment and networking at an excellent ticket price. The Bronx-Manhattan North Association of Realtors is a professional trade association officially representing the real estate industry since 1924 and is the local chapter for the New York State and National Association of Realtors. The organization's membership is very broad based and includes licensed real estate brokers and agents; multi-dwelling property owners; building service vendors and suppliers; unlicensed property managers; attorneys; appraisers; banks; mortgage companies; fuel service and energy companies; title and abstract companies; insurance companies and insurance brokers; contractors and other companies servicing the real estate industry. Tri-state capital migrates nationally amid regulation pressure - by Reese Weaver

New York tri-state multifamily investors are increasingly reallocating capital to less-regulated markets across the U.S. as rent control and legislative risk erode returns at home. With over 60% of New York City’s rental housing stock classified as rent-stabilized, the traditional value-add model — buying under-performing buildings,

The death of the generic offering memorandum: What buyers expect in 2025 - by Kimberly Zar Bloorian

There was a time when an offering memorandum (OM) was pretty bare bones, some photos, a few bullet points on income, and a rent roll thrown in at the back. That used to get the job done. Not anymore. In 2025, buyers are sharper, faster, and more selective. They’re looking
