BL Companies was named as one of the best places to work in Connecticut by Hearst Connecticut Newspapers. Based upon employees residing in Fairfield, New Haven, and Litchfield Counties, BL was ranked 14th in the small business category. The award was presented at a reception on September 12, at the Stepping Stones Museum. The Top Places to Work program was administered by Hearst Connecticut Newspapers, which evaluated survey responses from BL Cos.' employees. The survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. The company has conducted programs with more than 30 major publishing partners, surveying thousands of companies and millions of employees.
