Bier of T.M. Bier & Associates talks energy with President Obama

Ted Bier, president of T.M. Bier & Associates, one of the region's leading independent controls systems engineering companies, recently spoke with President Obama at the Mandarin Oriental. The brief introduction gave Bier an opportunity to compliment the President on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act's funding for energy conservation projects. Bier told President Obama, the legislation was the most useful energy-related law in 30 years to which President Obama referenced the law being 40 years late. Bier had the last word. He said he hoped the release of the millions of dollars set aside for "green" projects would be focused on projects producing real benefits to hard pressed entities in the New York area.
