Berkey of L&L reps owner in 14,320 s/f lease to Pamerantz Haudek

The law firm Pomerantz Haudek Grossman & Gross has leased 14,320 s/f comprising the entire 20th and a portion of the 21st floors at 600 Third Ave. for its New York headquarters. "We're delighted to welcome one of the oldest and most respected law firms in the United States to 600 Third Avenue," said David Levinson, chairman and CEO of L&L Holding Co., LLC, which owns the 42-story glass office tower at 40th St. in partnership with Blackrock Realty Advisors. Ted Rotante of Colliers represented the tenant while Andrew Wiener and David Berkey of L&L represented the building ownership in the 10-year lease. The 75-year old firm, best known for representing institutional and individual investors in securities fraud litigation, expects to relocate from 100 Park Ave. to its new offices in September. Besides championing the rights of defrauded investors and consumers, Pomerantz Haudek Grossman & Gross have thriving practices in antitrust and insurance related litigation. Headquartered in Manhattan, the firm also has offices in Chicago and Washington, D.C.
