Avison Young appoints Ullo senior director for tri-state marketing

New York, NY According to Arthur Mirante, Avison Young principal and tri-state president, Christy Ullo has joined the firm as senior director of marketing, tri-state, based in the firm’s New York City office. In her new role, Ullo will oversee the execution of marketing, corporate communications and public relations initiatives across the firm’s NYC, New Jersey, Fairfield/Westchester and Long Island offices.

Ullo, who brings over 16 years of commercial real estate marketing experience to her new position, will lead all marketing strategies and internal and external communications efforts for Avison Young throughout the Tri-State area. In addition, she will support marketing efforts for the firm’s exclusive agency assignments, as well as assist with the creation of pitch and presentation materials for new business opportunities. 

“Christy has a proven track record in developing and executing effective marketing programs across multiple platforms and audiences and we’re pleased to welcome her to the Avison Young team,” Mirante adds. “She is well-positioned to leverage her marketing savvy and knowledge of the regional commercial real estate market to boost brand awareness of Avison Young across the Tri-State area.”

Prior to joining Avison Young, Ullo served with project management firm Faithful+Gould for over a decade, most recently as vice president of Marketing and Communications, where she oversaw global marketing and public relations for the company. Before that, she served as a vice president with Pecora & Pecora. 

Ullo graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Organizational Communications and is a member of several prominent real estate industry organizations. She has also been the recipient of a number of industry recognitions including the CREW Impact Award, ENR’s 2017 Top Young Professionals, the 2014 and 2016 CoreNet NYC Volunteer Star Award and the 2013 CoreNet NYC Rising Star Award.
