Uniondale, NY Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP partner Joseph Asselta was honored by the Long Island Business News with the Leadership in Law award. The award recognizes experience, dedication, hard work, skill, and excellence and is dedicated to those individuals whose leadership, both in the legal profession and in the community, has had a positive impact on Long Island.

Asselta is co-head of the firm’s Construction Law Practice Group.  He represents clients in all segments of the construction industry including owners, developers, financial institutions, design professionals, general contractors, construction managers, government contractors, trade contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, equipment rental companies, and insurers and sureties.  A significant portion of his practice includes the review, drafting, and negotiation of construction contracts and related project documents.

He is a graduate of Georgetown University and St. John’s University School of Law.
