What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2012? : Assuming responsibility as President and Principal of the New York TriState area for the fastest growing company in the real estate services industry, Avison Young.
In less than a year we have established a strong foundation of talent in landlord and tenant leasing brokerage, investment sales, project management, debt and equity origination, loan sales, research and marketing, bound together by a strong culture of integrity, collaboration and client service.

At present we have offices in NY and Nj and soon to be in Ct, LI and.....

What was your most notable project, deal or transaction in 2012? : We were recently awarded the exclusive leasing agency assignment for The Paramount Building at 1501 Broadway, in the heart of Times Square. This prestigious 700,000 sq.ft. tower is about to undergo a substantial reinvestment which will renew the building to its Art Deco elegence. A contiguous block of 150,000 sq ft on floors 8 through 11, 8 has a 25 ft. ceiling, will be of particular interest to media/tech tenants.

The ownership is comprised of experienced and sophisticated investors so their trust in our firm is very meaningful to us.
What are your predictions for commercial real estate in 2013? : The commercial real estate market will be stable and depending on local economic, employment and supply/demand fundamentals should improve.In NY, the dramatic improvement that was underway was cut short by the manner in which our government handled the debt crises in 2011. Since then our environment has been characterized by an " abundance of caution". I believe that in 2013 the macro-headwinds we have been facing will diminish and business and real estate activety will increase, along with rents and prices of real estate in New York.


What are your resolutions for 2013? : My resolutions for 2013 include :
+ Insuring that our clients' objectives are achieved. Only by superior performance will our firm succeed.
+ Help Avison Young continue to grow with top tier professionals dedicated to client service.
+ Focus on building new relationships for our firm
+ Promote and fiercely protect the Avison Young culture.
+ Be a better husband, father, business colleague and citizen.
