(ARI), a publicly traded REIT, in connection with ARI’s definitive agreement to sell its entire $9 billion commercial real estate loan portfolio to Athene Holding. Upon closing of the transaction, ARI will emerge as a well-capitalized REIT with a strong balance sheet with $1.4 billion of net cash and a clear runway to design and execute a refreshed strategy.
