Anton, Solarz and Schechtman of Eastern Cons. complete $4.3m sale

A 41,924 s/f 202-car garage, in the newly-developed Arris Lofts condos complex in Long Island City has traded for $4.3 million. Eastern Consolidated's executive managing directors, Eric Anton and Ronald Solarz, along with senior director David Schechtman represented the buyer and seller for the garage condo at 27-28 Thomson Ave. "This offering represented a unique opportunity to acquire a garage and retail condo in a neighborhood on the verge of becoming N.Y.C.'s next major 24/7 neighborhood," said Anton. The retail unit features 433 ft. of frontage at street level on Thomson Ave. and Court Sq. Arris Lofts, formerly an electric parts factory, underwent a comprehensive conversion to luxury residential loft units, completed last year. Attorneys in the transaction were: Philip Brody ofTime Equities, for the buyer, and Christopher Babcock of Stroock and Stroock and Lavan LLC.
