Amato joins Forchelli Deegan Terrana as partner

Michael Amato

Uniondale, NY Forchelli Deegan Terrana LLP welcomes Michael Amato to the firm’s bankruptcy and corporate restructuring and litigation practice groups as a partner.

Amato is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Turnaround Management Association, and the Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Associations. He has experience in alternative dispute resolution and is an approved mediator in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for both the Eastern and Southern Districts of N.Y.

Amato earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and his B.A. from Stony Brook University.

Prior to joining FDT, Amato was a partner in a Uniondale-based law firm, where he was the chair of the corporate restructuring & bankruptcy practice group, and a member of the firm’s litigation and blockchain technology and digital asset practice groups.
