Manhattan, NY AMA Group assisted in the design process of One Columbus Circle.
After four years in the making, Deutsche Bank moved its U.S. headquarters, onto 15 floors of the now ‘Deutsche Bank Center’ – formerly Time Warner Center – at Columbus Circle. TM Technology Partners joined the Gensler team to design the IT infrastructure and equip all one million s/f with smart building technology, enabling the deployment wayfinding using Bluetooth enabled beacons, manage office occupancy and usage, and finely tune their environmental systems to better understand and manage their carbon footprint.
AMA chief executive officer Arthur Metzler said, “Columbus Circle was completely changed for the better when One Columbus Circle was built. Now Deutsche Bank has the opportunity to grow and prosper in a newly renovated facility steps from Central Park.”
Nearly 5,000 employees occupy 1.1 million s/f at the tower. The building features views of Central Park and the Hudson River. Recent upgrades added new office lobbies, destination-dispatch elevators and three office terraces overlooking Central Park. One Columbus Circle opened in 2004. The building is part of the larger mixed-use complex at the southwest corner of Central Park, with the Shops at Columbus Circle, retailers, restaurants, and access to various subway lines. The move includes an upgrade in building amenities.
