AMA Group delivers on Peloton NYC headquarters expansion

New York, NY AMA Group, an industry leader and multifaceted national engineering design firm, is providing ongoing services for Peloton to expand their NYC headquarters and distribution facilities on the east coast. AMA Group, along with its low-voltage business units TM Technology Partners and AMA Commissioning, completed mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, IT, security and enhanced commissioning services for the 312,000 s/f Peloton headquarters at Hudson Commons. Additionally, AMA Group has been retained for ongoing services for Peloton’s distribution facilities.

Peloton tapped AMA Group for their new headquarters, which occupy floors 4 through 11 of the building, as well as a 13,000 s/f basement housing a fabrication lab and support space. The new headquarters comprise extensive workstations across all departments, including engineering, apparel, and product teams. Key spaces such as software labs, user testing, music lounges and an editing space were designed for ongoing development.

The office space also includes a large employee amenity program, with huddle and meeting rooms, an employee gym, and creative and social lounges.

“Peloton is leading the fitness industry and AMA Group is excited to continue our successful partnership to create highly technical facilities that further Peloton’s brand mission,” said Arthur Metzler, CEO, AMA Group. “We worked closely with Peloton and the project team to advise and design dynamic, advanced spaces.”

AMA Group is also providing MEP design services for Peloton’s Distribution Center in Linden, NJ and its R&D and Test Facility in Secaucus, NJ. Previously, AMA Group provided MEP, IT and security design services for Peloton’s Super Studio located at 5 Manhattan West, which includes the company’s flagship broadcast and production operations and Fitness Studio in London.

This continuing work with Peloton is reflective of AMA Group’s leadership in complex mixed-use spaces with advanced production spaces.
