What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2010? :
Aragon Celebrated 10 years in Business this year. It is a tremendous milestone for me and the firm.
What was your most notable project, deal or transaction in 2010?
After witnessing the disastrous 2009 recession when projects in New York City came to an immediate halt, Aragon rebounded in 2010 with over 120 completed projects. Aragon was fortunate to have booked and built several large scale projects including data centers and fortune 10 financial firms.
Aragon also built over 60,000 s/f for the Mandell School on time and within budget. It was a great feeling watching 400 students arrive on their first day of school to a brand new facility.
What predictions do you have for commercial real estate in 2011?
From the buzz that I hear from the real estate brokers to the facilities managers, the confidence levels are definitely in a positive direction. There are a lot of bigger blocks of space being leased requiring full build-outs. Aragon has a strong backlog going into 2011 and we will strengthen and grow off that platform.
What are some of your New Year's Resolutions?
I am not a believer in resolutions. We are who we are!! I will continue to be a dedicated leader, distinct builder, great father and husband and a keep pushing everyone to their max capacity!!
