AKRF, one of N.Y.'s leading environmental, planning and engineering consultant is expanding the markets and client base of its Economics & Real Estate Advisory Services team.
Over the past 30 years, the firm has built a reputation as a trusted economic and real estate consultant, working hand-in-hand with its clients on many of New York's most visible projects, from the redevelopment of Times Sq. to the integration of the Space Shuttle Enterprise into the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum. Now the practice has expanded to provide services to a broader geographic client base.
"Since we began in 1981, AKRF's expertise in economics and real estate has played a critical role in many of the projects that have helped shape N.Y.," said Ed Applebome, president of AKRF. "We are now undertaking a demographic analysis for a nation-wide healthcare provider and working on a variety of assignments in Philadelphia, Mass., Maryland, and Virginia."
As an economic and real estate consultant, AKRF is distinguished by its ability to leverage its environmental, planning and engineering capabilities to conduct analyses that are sensitive to the complete set of issues that can influence a project's performance.
Our practice helps public and private sector clients make informed, cost-effective decisions through a broad range of services including economic and fiscal impact analyses, market and demand analyses, financial feasibility analyses and comprehensive development strategies.
Led by senior vice president Peter Liebowitz and vice president John Neill, the practice comprises a team of 15 development experts, including economists, MBAs, input-output modelers, accredited real estate professionals and former real estate developers.
