Agents taking an active role with Agorafy's open platform

We started Agorafy with the fundamental belief that real estate professionals are the most integral aspect of the real estate market, however sometimes they can be an underutilized resource. So we developed an open platform that effectively engages and empowers real estate professionals to take an active role. We want to give real estate professionals a place where they can connect and share their collective knowledge with other professionals while marketing their skills and expertise to potential clients. By increasing transparency and interaction professionals have found with very little effort, they can derive the maximum benefit. With our platform we are building a symbiotic environment which provides real estate professionals a central place to market their listings, their knowledge, and their brand while accessing the market data which is vital to their business. A platform where they can do their part, and leverage the market data and knowledge from every participant in the market. Everyone knows that every professional interaction, no matter how it takes place is ultimately about people. At Agorafy we are developing our technology to promote interactions and direct communication with no run around. We want those searching for real estate to find what they are looking for and are able to directly contact the listing agent without hassle as well as review their qualifications. For real estate professionals we want to give them access to market data and the ability to discover new opportunities, without barriers to that information. Whether it's researching property ownership or market pricing we believe this information should be shared freely within the community. Our platform was built with real estate professionals in mind, and we have found that when you encourage agents to cooperate with you and provide them value, great data comes easily. It's very simple for agents to confirm market pricing on their exclusive listings, which may only account for a small percentage of the listings on the market but in turn gain access to every availability on the market, very minimal effort for 99.9% of the benefits. This results in not just listings, but verified listings with prices and availability updated constantly. When you have high quality inventory information, it is easier to work more efficiently, learn the market, serve your clients, and turn potential into success. This is the goal of cooperation and taking an active role, spending a little amount of time sharing the information you have, and in turn saving a tremendous amount of time searching for the rest. It is all right there waiting for you. Working alone, real estate professionals can be inefficient, working longer for lower quality information. However when brought together they can leverage what they know with their strengths and become a cohesive team. Every real estate firm with their unique strengths and areas of specialization brings crucial knowledge into the market, the more this information is shared, the stronger the market becomes. The same is true for information, small amounts of inaccurate, segmented information is very weak and unreliable. However once this information is centralized, verified and made available to everyone it too becomes incredibly powerful. Agorafy believes every firm and their agents should work together, and reap the benefits. With our open platform we are striving to increase cooperation and transparency. This creates market efficiency, enables price discovery and boosts space absorption, which benefits the entire real estate community. Richard Du is the founder and CEO of Agorafy, New York, N.Y
