Bayonne, NJ 957 Broadway Urban Renewal, LLC has broken ground on a new 10-story apartment building at 957 Broadway. In attendance were mayor Jimmy Davis and other local officials. The city’s newest 91-unit apartment building offers access to public transportation, restaurants, retail, and amenities. 957 Broadway Urban Renewal is a joint venture of developer, The L Group, Cali Futures, GRA Equities and Gallium Real Estate. Lucal Construction is the general contractor.

“Bayonne is the perfect mix of urban/suburban living,” said developer Lance Lucarelli of the L Group. “957 Broadway offers the best of both worlds with a Manhattan skyline view and a long list of amenities.”

Davis said, “I am aware that some residents are against this project, however I continue to believe that buildings like this right on Broadway will jump start the revitalization of our commercial district. Replacing empty or old outdated storefronts with high quality commercial space and luxury apartments has long been a goal of restoring Broadway.”

The multi-use project will also have a two-level underground garage to minimize neighborhood impact, roof terraces and other amenities, as well as 8,500 s/f of retail space along Broadway and bordering a renovated Dr. David Morris Park.

The 45th St. Hudson Bergen Light Rail Station is one block away, providing a 15-minute ride to the Exchange Place and Newport PATH stations in Jersey City.  Unusual for a project of this size, the entire building will be constructed of poured in place concrete for superior fire safety and quiet quality.

957 Broadway Urban Renewal is a joint venture of local Bayonne developer the L Group, Cali Futures, GRA Equities and Gallium Real Estate.  Lucal Construction is the General Contractor for the project.

Most people think of St. Patrick’s Day as a fun footnote on the calendar. In construction logistics, however, it’s a full-scale operational variable — especially if your work touches major metro areas with major parades and, let’s call it what it is, enthusiastic celebrants.
