What recent project, accomplishment or award are you most proud of? I joined A-1 while it was in a crucial phase. My background on other sides of construction in audit and on the developer side has helped immensely in my current position. I am extremely proud of how far A-1 has come and excited to have been a part of it.

What do you like best about being a woman in the AEC industry? As a woman in a leadership role in a historically male dominated industry – it has been refreshing to see more women in the same space as me. I also feel fortunate to have my career path embraced and to know I am viewed as a respected colleague by my peers.

What is one of the most exciting developments or innovations impacting the AEC industry right now? You would be hard pressed to open any respected publication and not see an article about AI and its impact on business. I am cautiously excited to see the efficiencies it can bring to our industry which is known for being late to the game with technology.

What is your favorite building in New York? 53w53 in Midtown is my favorite building although I am biased because that was my project when I worked at Hines for the buildout. I started that job as a project accountant when it broke ground and now it is one of the most unique silhouettes in the NYC skyline.
