22,000 s/f Food Cellars opens at Rockrose Development property
Food Cellars recently opened in the Long Island City neighborhood. The food retailer is one of the first supermarkets in the area. The addition of a supermarket within walking distance will revolutionize the area, where 5,000 residents previously lugged their groceries in from Manhattan or Brooklyn on crowded subways, or ordered online for delivery.Â
 Food Cellars will offer all natural and organic foods, as well as a bakery, and a full selection of gourmet prepared foods.Â
 Food Cellars occupies 22,000 s/f on the ground floor of one of Rockrose Development Corp.'s rental buildings at East Coast.
