2025 Year in Review: Daniel Lebor, TerraCRG

Daniel Lebor
EVP Sales & Partner
TerraCRG

What accomplishment, milestone, project or transaction stood out for you or your firm in 2025?
Looking back on 2025, the accomplishment that truly stood out for me was the successful closing of the Red Hook Portfolio — a four-building multifamily and mixed-use assemblage along Van Brunt St. that we sold for $12.4 million. This transaction represented the culmination of years of thoughtful development, design, and repositioning by REDHOEK+ and Lee Cohen, and it was an honor for Matt Cosentino and me, along with our TerraCRG team, to represent them exclusively in the sale.

What emerging trends or shifts will shape opportunities for you, your firm, or market sector in 2026?
In 2026, Brooklyn opportunities will be shaped by evolving zoning and policy shifts encouraging higher-density development, along with future large-scale projects like Atlantic Yards and Brooklyn Marine Terminal. Early-stage land acquisition will be key as investors target underutilized lots in areas poised for transformation. These trends will drive demand for mixed-use and multifamily assets, while neighborhoods adapt to new regulations. Our Brooklyn-focused platform is positioned to guide clients in capturing these emerging growth opportunities.
