What has been the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in your career, and why?

I think a willingness to learn is one of the most important qualities you can have. In construction, so much of what you know comes from being on the job; asking questions, jumping in to help, and picking up tips from the people who’ve been doing it for years. Every project teaches you something new, and staying curious makes you better at what you do.

If you could change one thing about the CRE industry, what would it be and why?

If I could change one thing about the industry, it would be bringing even more young women into construction and real estate. We’ve seen the numbers grow over the past few years, and I hope that continues. Women bring so many strengths to the table; attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to balance multiple priorities, which are all key to running successful projects.
