2023 Women in CRE: Margaret Fahy, Cullen and Dykman LLP

Margaret Fahy
Partner
Cullen and Dykman LLP

What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? I just celebrated my 26th anniversary working at Cullen and Dykman LLP. I am proud to be part of an organization with a long-standing history of providing quality legal services to banking institutions. Over the past 26 years, I have fostered many great professional relationships and personal friendships. Having experienced a few downturns in the real estate cycle during my career has helped strengthen and diversify my skillset and has contributed to my professional growth.

Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you? I am inspired by those who are able to maintain a healthy balance of work and family life while maintaining a sense of humor.

Why should this nominee be recognized in our Women in Commercial Real Estate Spotlight? “Maggie has 26 years of experience and a proven track record of success. Maggie builds strong relationships and has a keen ability to get transactions done. She has closed over $1 billion in CRE transactions and is a true role model and mentor for her peers in the industry.” - Christopher Palmer, Managing Partner at Cullen and Dykman LLP.

What are the most important factors women in your industry should consider when choosing a firm to build their career with? Finding a firm with a sense of camaraderie and a team-based work environment where one can learn from a variety of attorneys is invaluable.
