2021 Year in Review: Jack Hurley, Isa Realty Group

Name: Jack Hurley

Job Title: Commercial RE Salesperson

Company Name: Isa Realty Group

What was the biggest lesson you learned while working during the pandemic?
With the world constantly changing, I learned to stay positive, be flexible/open minded and just focus on each day one at a time. I keep my head down, keep working hard and the rest will take care of itself.

What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2021?
The leasing of three spaces in Times Sq. on behalf of Farmore Realty, when everyone was saying NYC was dead. When we got the assignment Times Sq. was a ghost town. You could stand in the middle of Broadway with not a car in site. Even with no tourists, Broadway shows, or office workers, we were able to lease over 4,750 s/f of retail space right next to M&M World at 740 Seventh Ave.

How has your working environment changed over the last year?
A lot more zoom calls and virtual tours with prospective tenants in order for them to feel as safe as possible. Along with more work from home flexibility.
