Which of your philanthropic endeavors are you most proud of?
I believe that we all have something valuable to share. If you know how to read, teach someone who does not. I am proud to serve on the Advisory Council for Fordham Real Estate Institute. The Fordham program is unique in that the participants are assigned industry mentors who provide career advice and networking opportunities. Teaching construction management classes in the Opportunity Academy is another philanthropic endeavor that was very rewarding. The Opportunity Academy is sponsored by the NYC School Construction Authority, wherein students are offered free training and paid internships that can lead to employment in the construction industry.
