2015 Year in Review - Lev Mavashev

Lev Mavashev, Alpha Realty Lev Mavashev, Alpha Realty
What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or professional achievement in 2015? I think our most notable achievement in 2015 was the sheer volume of transactions we closed. We are a boutique firm of 4 brokers (including me) and we closed about 30 deals and sold over $150 million worth of real estate throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan. How will you be supercharging your productivity in 2016? I am very competitive and passionate about doing deals.  The best way I supercharge myself is to inspire and motivate myself to break my own record.  And so far my pipeline looks good. Based on the deals we currently have in contract, we are already on track to break $200 million in sales for 2016. What emerging trends will drive investment and development in 2016? Queens will see increased activity.  We have recently completed some sales there and I think more investors are showing interest in Queens, especially as rents in Brooklyn and Manhattan are growing at rapid pace.
