10-10-2012 - National Association of Housing Cooperatives Announces 2012 Annual Conference
The National Association of Housing Cooperatives (NAHC) announces its 52nd annual conference will be held October 10-13 at the Atlantis Casino.
Over 400 attendees from 80 housing cooperatives across the nation will gather together for educational training and networking. The conference will also highlight the 2012 International Year of Cooperatives and the impact housing cooperatives make in providing affordable homeownership to residents across the country.
"NAHC's mission is to support and educate existing and new cooperative housing communities as the best and most economical form of homeownership," stated Ralph Marcus, NAHC's Chairman. "For over 52 years, we have provided first class educational workshops for board members and management professionals to effectively run their housing cooperative. With 2012 being the International Year of Cooperatives, NAHC has another great opportunity to promote the cooperative form of ownership, and educate the community about the important role co-ops play in providing affordable homeownership."
