On September 20th the Commercial Industrial Brokers Society of Long Island (CIBS) will be hosting an educational program, "How to make and save money by employing green practices." This program will be held at Motor Parkway Plaza, 694 Motor Pwy. The location is a LEED Silver certified building.
The program will cover the following:
* How to obtain minimum savings of 8% to 25% on all electricity use guaranteed;
* New LIPA feed in tariff program and roof leases;
* Solar electric applications;
*Provide your clients with green and productive office environments; and
*Tax savings and rebates.
Program speakers are: Gary Joel Schacker, SIOR, of United Realty and Tri/Quad Properties; Ralph Benzakein, SIOR, LEED AP, of Cresa Long Island and Frank Chisholm, Energy Distributors for Green Revolution.
A continental breakfast will be held at 8 a.m., with the program beginning at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 9:30 a.m.
This program is free to all CIBS members and associate members. Non-members may attend, and must pay a $30 fee.
