05-14-2015 - LIREG to hold LIREG W event
The Long Island Real Estate Group (LIREG) will hold "LIREG W: The Art of Real Estate." This will be a networking event for professional women in the real estate industry and the allied trades who work or live on Long Island. The event will be held on May 14th, 6 - 9 p.m. at Jewel Restaurant, 400 Broadhollow Rd. The cost is $30 for LIREG members and $60 for non-members. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for $150.
LIREG will also hold a networking breakfast featuring Philip Silverman, JD, senior VP of facilities and real estate for NSLIJ Health System at Old Westbury Golf and Country Club on June 3rd from 8 to 10 a.m.

When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
