05-12-2014 - IREM to hold two spring courses in May: Managing the Physical Asset and Investment Real Estate: Financing Tools

IREM will hold the following two spring courses: Managing the Physical Asset: To be held on May 12th and 13th. Develop a first-rate property maintenance program and manage various types of risk by learning the specifics of planning, implementing, and monitoring property maintenance operations. What will you learn: Property risk analysis; maintenance risk management programs; inspection and risk analysis, major building mechanicals and systems, maintenance management, sustainability, and emergency and disaster planning. How will you benefit: Create and oversee top-of-the-line maintenance operations and anticipate potential risk; exceed client expectations with property maintenance processes that deliver heightened property performance; and reduce capital expenses through maintenance programs that preserve real estate assets. Investment Real Estate: Financial Tools: on May 14th and May 15th.This course addresses the core issues that impact fiscal planning, giving you the ability to calculate important financial components and take control of your property's financial outlook. What you will learn: Financial knowledge in property management and financing. How you will benefit: Gain the fiduciary trust needed to work effectively with owners and investors; maximize the financial potential of the properties you manage; establish yourself as a strategic partner to your clients. A HP10BII Financial Calculator is required. Students are expected to have a working knowledge of the basic operations and functionality of the calculator. Registration Information Please note: It is recommended that these courses be attended consecutively. Courses are being conducted from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Knickerbocker Plaza - Lobby Level 1751 Second Ave. (between 91st & 92nd Sts.) Member rate is $599 and non-member rate is $745.
