According to Rebuilding Together NYC (RT NYC), its 2015 Coming Home Gala will be held on Thursday, April 30th from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Yale Club in Midtown. George Oliphant, host of NBC's hit show George to the Rescue will serve as Master of Ceremony for the event honoring Meredith Corporation vice chairperson, Mell Meredith Frazier, and Shawmut Design and Construction president, Les Hiscoe. Frazier, who also serves as vice chairman of the National Rebuilding Together board of directors, will be recognized for her longstanding support and commitment to Rebuilding Together NYC. Meredith Corporation, the largest media and marketing company serving American women, was one of the leading companies to provide assistance and support to RT NYC in the wake of Hurricane Sandy and has a long track record of organizing Rebuilding Together volunteer programs for their employees across the nation. Hiscoe, president of Shawmut Design and Construction, has made significant contributions to RT NYC for many years as well as provided positive, forward looking leadership that has strengthened RT NYC's team of board, staff, and volunteers—tripling the organization's capacity to serve low-income homeowners each year. "Mell and Les share the passion and vision that has been so essential in enabling RT NYC to grow in size, scope and service to our community," says Stephen Dundon, board president, RT NYC. "It is a tremendous honor and privilege to recognize such deserving leaders who share our commitment to helping low-income homeowners and community organizations."
