Zere wins Top Green Project award from LIBN

Marie Zere, president & CEO of Zere Real Estate Services, was recognized by the Long Island Business News (LIBN) at their 2015 Real Estate Awards for her outstanding achievements, leadership and contributions to Long Island's commercial real estate industry and the communities of Nassau and Suffolk County. The award - "Top Green Project" - was for the " 46-acre Calverton Solar Farm" and her expertise in the solar industry for eco-friendly land use and commercial roof top installations and applications to help Long Islander's with skyrocketing energy costs.

When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
