He had this to say, "The summer season has been active, although the deals are smaller and we are working harder than ever to bring the deals to fruition, there is still business out there in the Suffolk County leasing markets, if you are willing to hand hold your customer and walk them through the leasing process with creative alternatives to structure a deal that benefits both parties."

Marie Zere, president & CEO, Zere Real Estate Services has her own ideas about the present business leasing climate. "In this market, you have to put the hours in and advise your customers where the best deals are and what are realistic expectations from a commercial landlord during the course of a lease term. Businesses still need to operate their companies even if it means cutbacks and transition operations to offset the rising costs across the board to run a company today on Long Island...the wheels keep turning with aggressive business owners willing to ride out the economic storm."
