YM/WREA unveils its 2012 board of directors; Berke of Cushman & Wakefield named chairman

At its annual "members-only" luncheon on December 13, The Young Men's/Women's Real Estate Association (YM/WREA) unveiled a new board of governors for 2012. David Berke, associate director with Cushman & Wakefield, was named this year's chairman. Berke will oversee a board of governors comprised of the following professionals: * Michael Rudder, Rudder Property Group - vice chairman * Ronald LoRusso, Vornado Realty Trust - membership chairman * Alisa Amsterdam, Cushman & Wakefield - secretary * Adam Frazier, Boston Properties - treasurer * Andrew Ackerman, Vornado Realty Trust - governor * Stephen Gordon, Newmark Knight Frank - governor * Andrew Lazarus, Tudor Realty - governor. Established in 1948, with a membership totaling approximately 400, Young Men's/Women's Real Estate Association promotes greater understanding and knowledge of the real estate industry among its constituents through its monthly luncheons and wide variety of philanthropic activities including Habitat for Humanity Build Day, Central Park Clean-Up Day, an Annual Blood Drive, among others, in addition to many social functions.
